I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
*********************************************************************************
"DISCLOSURE: I may be an affiliate for products that I recommend. If you purchase those items through my links I will earn a commission. You will not pay more when buying a product through my link."
Some of the links in posts are "affiliate links." This means if you click on the link and purchase the item, I receive an affiliate commission. I recommend products that will authentically benefit readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with 16 CFR, Part 255 and humbly thank you for your support.
I encourage my readers to use my Amazon links to order: it adds nothing to the price for the buyer, but helps to support this site and my continued writing. Thanks!

Ilona's Garden Journal
“My garden blog journal, which now has its own domain, has been affiliated with Amazon.com as a partner. As a publisher with Google Adsense, I am also partnered with them. In all my online affiliations I try to give added value to my readers by recommending good products which are a match to their interests and needs. With Affiliates partners, many are companies I had done business with for years, as a customer, so it made sense to help support the site by affiliating with these same companies I had happily done business with.

Ilona's Garden:
The same can be said for my garden website. It recently partnered with some of these affiliate programs, ever since getting its own domain.
|
Any affiliates I have relationship with will appear in this space, in the future.
|
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
I chose to be affiliated with these companies because of their quality products and service. Most of them are probably familiar to you, and they make news of discounts and specials available as an added value for readers here. Look for coupons and discounts to be highlighted.

Anything you order after entering Amazon's site from this button will be counted as my referral . Or you can look at my picks throughout the site or the aStore - it is an easy way to support my writing on the websites (that I hope give you high quality info and online experience).
Ordering your Amazon purchase through my pages does not add anything to your price or billing, it is simply Amazon sharing some of their income with hardworking people like yours truly. Thank you so much for supporting my writing, be sure to contact me if you have any suggestions. See my privacy policy for my outline of assurance that I never share your email or personal information.

I sometimes use the common terms "urban", "homesteading", "slow gardening", etc. in my writing. I use these terms in only the most common usage manner. There are many disputes online and I was contacted about changing a tagline, which I did, although I do not recognize the right of anyone to so highjack the English language.
Legally, I submit this as the expert view on using certain words in articles and published in blogs and websites:
A trademark owner by choosing a descriptive term as its trademark must live with the result that an author remains free to write about or use the trademark in its “primary” or descriptive sense. Legal doctrine defines fair use of a trademark as the reasonable and good faith use of a descriptive term that is another's trademark to describe rather than to identify the user’s goods, services or business. -fair use of trademarks
