I have always been a prolific reader- books are one of my favorite things in the world. As various pages were written on different subjects, I have often thought that suggested books would be helpful. Online information is wonderful, but there are times when you want a hardcopy book in front of you. Sometimes you want to give something as a gift. This will not be a generic best seller list- anything I recommend is due to it being of particular usefulness, interest, or beauty. IMO, of course.

Here are some books to help you in your garden. Penelope Hobhouse is one of the finest most knowledgeble garden writers around; put her name in the search box. Some reference books are just downright necessary.
